Résumé : Au fil de ses 300 numéros, avec chaque samedi soir plus de dix millions de téléspectateurs, l’émission « Champs-Élysées » a marqué les années 80. Aux côtés de Johnny Hallyday, Dalida, Daniel Balavoine, France Gall, Gilbert Bécaud, Michel Serrault, Sophie Marceau, Jean Poiret, Isabelle Adjani, Romy Schneider, mais aussi Barbra Streisand, John Travolta, Whitney Houston, Donna Summer ou Cyndi Lauper, des stars comme Céline Dion, Patrick Bruel, Mylène Farmer ou encore Jeanne Mas ont fait leurs débuts sur le plateau. Ce documentaire évoque les dessous des moments inoubliables de l’émission en les replaçant dans le contexte de leur époque. Ce premier volet s’attachera à faire le récit passionnant des quatre premières années de « Champs-Élysées », de la naissance du programme en 1982 jusqu’à sa pause forcée en 1985 en pleine gloire.

Résumé : Dans cette seconde partie, découverte sous un angle nouveau des moments cultes qui ont marqué « Champs-Élysées » durant ses cinq dernières années, de la reprise de l’émission en janvier 1986 jusqu’à son ultime numéro en juin 1990. La fin des années 80 voient les débuts de toute une génération de chanteuses et chanteurs, Florent Pagny, Vanessa Paradis, Patrick Bruel, Patricia Kaas, l'émergence de talents de l’humour, comme Muriel Robin, les Inconnus ou les Nuls. Retour également sur les entrevues avec les plus grandes stars hollywoodiennes de l’époque : Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger ou Clint Eastwood. Des archives exceptionnelles commentées spécialement par Michel Drucker et de nombreuses personnalités.
